Dragonscale Chainmaille PDF Tutorial
Dragonscale speed weaving tutorial PDF with photos, instructions, pointers, and helpful advice. This photo tutorial in PDF makes dragonscale easy by using speed weaving techniques. Each step is fully described and demonstrated.
19 pages, 30 images. Every step contains photos, highlights, particular things to notice in the images, and helpful hints from someone who has made a lot of dragonscale–me! I also provide advice for using different ring sizes and weaving different widths. You can see sample instruction selections in the images.
In this speed weaving technique, all the smaller rings are pre-closed after the first couple of rows. Doing it this way is much, much easier than adding each ring individually. It’s also faster (which is why it’s called speed weaving, right?).
Rings Sizes You Will Need
4mm inner diameter, 20 gauge AND
6mm inner diameter, 18 gauge (AWG)
These two ring sizes are used in this tutorial, but I provide advice on how to select other combinations of ring sizes.
